Finisar’s FTLF1424P2xCL and FTLF1424P2xCV Small Form Factor Pluggable (SFP) transceivers are compatible with the Small Form Factor Pluggable Multi-Sourcing Agreement (MSA). They are compatible with Fibre Channel per FC-PI-2 Rev. 10.0. Rate selectable versions are also simultaneously compatible with Gigabit Ethernet as specified in IEEE Std 802.3. The product is RoHS compliant and lead-free per Directive 2002/95/EC4 and Finisar Application Note AN-2038.
Finisar FTLX8512D3BCL Small Form Factor 10Gb/s (XFP) transceivers are compliant with the current XFP Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) Specification1. They comply with 10-Gigabit Ethernet 10GBASE-SR/SW per IEEE 802.3ae, 10G Fibre Channel 1200-MxSN-I and 8G Fibre Channel 800SM-LC-L. They are compliant with SFF-84311 , SFF-84322 , IEEE 802.3ae 10GBASE-SR/SW3 and 10G Fibre Channel 1200-Mx-SN-I4 . Digital diagnostics functions are available via a 2-wire serial interface, as specified in SFF-84725 . The FTLX8573D3BTL is a “limiting module”, i.e., it employs a limiting receiver. Host board designers using an EDC PHY IC should follow the IC manufacturer’s recommended settings for interoperating the host-board EDC PHY with a limiting receiver SFP+ module. The optical transceivers are compliant per the RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU. See Finisar Application Note AN-2038 for more details.
